Vinton County National Bank (VCNB) seeks a Senior Personal Banker in Circleville to engage in daily branch operations, open deposit accounts, and originate consumer loan requests, including home equity loans.

You will mentor others, serve as content expert, and uphold VCNB service standards across in-person, online, mobile, and phone channels.

The role emphasizes relationship building, cross-selling, and delivering exceptional customer service while complying with regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or similar cash handling role.
• Ability to train other Personal Bankers or act as content expert.
• Strong communication and exceptional customer service.
• Independent judgment and discretion in daily duties.

Responsabilidades

• Operates on the Retail floor, including teller line during lunches or high volume.
• Opens deposit accounts and maintains them.
• Underwrites and services consumer loans, with ability to meet with applicants.
• Opens home equity loans.
• Cross-sell and refer bank services with high quality referrals.
• Builds relationships via outside calling and follow-ups with customers.
• Serves customers per VCNB policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains portfolio with significant platform time.
• Assists in resolving customer or staff issues; backups in leadership.
• Trains other Personal Bankers or acts as content expert in Teller/Deposits/Consumer Lending/Sales.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
