The ideal candidate has 3+ years in New Account experience, a high school diploma, and participates in the appropriate mentor and learning plans. Strong communication and sales skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
• Minimum of 3+ years of New Account experience.
• Complete Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan
• Teller Learning Plan, if applicable
• Understanding the Caller Identification Process and Secure code – training offered by Training Department
• Proficiency in Trust and Estate Accounts – Training for Trust I and II
• Online banking and Treasury management services

Responsibilities

• Opens, closes, and maintains checking, savings, time deposit, and IRAs; works with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
• Profiles clients to identify sales opportunities and cross-sell products.
• Resolves client requests promptly and courteously; maintains client relationships.
• Maintains and protects customer account information and company reputation.
• Assists in training lobby associates and coordinating with management and other branches.
