Job summary

FactSet’s Americas Analytics team seeks a Performance Specialist to drive and qualify opportunities for Performance Solutions across Buy Side & Wealth clients in the Americas. You will demonstrate our solutions, coordinate with sales and product teams, and engage with senior leadership to advance opportunities.

The role requires extensive client interaction, strong analytical skills, and the ability to design compelling product demonstrations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; CFA qualifications desirable.
  • At least 10 years experience in a sales and/or client facing role with a strong record and good understanding of customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the performance market and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify growth opportunities through client engagement and commercial discussions across Wealth and Institutional clients.
  • Design tailored product demonstrations to highlight the value of performance solutions.
  • Coordinate with sales, analytics, sales engineering and consultants to run engagements and pricing.
  • Share client insights to inform product strategy and development.
  • Travel as required to meet clients and prospects.
  • Build relationships across an international network including Product Development and Implementation.

Your Team’s Impact:

America’s Analytics team are seeking a Performance Specialist to focus on generating and converting sales pipeline for FactSet Performance Solutions across Buy Side & Wealth clients in the Americas region. The Performance Specialistis responsible fordriving the assessment and qualification of Performance products and services to prospective buyers and will work alongside the existing Product Specialist Teams. This also includes the provision of sales support via demonstrations, pilots, proofs of concept,discussionsand coordination of activities with FactSet’s sales staff and leadership.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the performance market, and howthecompetitive landscape affectsthe market.

  • Understand client types and user workflows with the goal ofidentifyingareas of potential growth, and then execute on those opportunities through client engagement and commercial discussions, e.g. Wealth Management,Institutional Asset Management, etc.

  • Design tailored product demonstrations to highlightthevalue add of our performance solution to meet specific investment management needs.

  • Partner with multiple stakeholders such as generalist sales team, analytics specialists, salesengineeringand consultants to run sales engagements including pricing of contracts & coordination with implementation, etc.

  • Share insights from client interactions to help shape product strategy and future
    development

  • Seek outadditionalways to make an impact such as mentoring others, involvement in training, running campaigns and proactively engage with product strategy and development fornew ideas, bugs as well as product improvements.

  • Report the current state of opportunities to senior management on a regular basis

  • Build& expand strong relationships across an international network of individuals at varying levels of the organization, including Product Development, Implementation, etc. as well as outside amongst clients and prospects.

What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 10years experiencein a sales and/or client facing role with a strong record and good understanding of customer needs and building effective relationships.

  • Someexperience of the Middle Office and the Performance workflow, withpreviousexposure to systems such asB-One,EagleorStatProa real plus.

  • Self-starter with a proven ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.

  • Interpersonal skills along with verbal and written communication skillsrequiredto build relationships and interface with key stakeholders at all levels of the business

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.

  • Strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.

  • Willingness to learnnew trendsand aware of industry changes

  • Willingness to travel

  • Degree in Finance, Economics,Mathematicsor a related field; CFA qualifications desirable

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

The budgeted amount range for this position in New York City is $145,000 - $180,000
