Job summary

FactSet Research Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead Implementation Specialist to deploy FactSet products through high-value projects. You will guide clients, mentor junior staff, and lead complex engagements, with a focus on workflows, training, and solution optimization.

The role requires deep knowledge of FactSet Analytics tools, strong technical skills, and willingness to travel. Hybrid work arrangement across major US cities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience with FactSet Analytics tools.
• Strong knowledge of performance workflows.
• Strong technical background.
• Proven proficiency with writing complex screening codes.
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products.
• Certifications (CFA/CIPM/CAPM/FRM/MBA) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with big-picture thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide product guidance on solutioning processes based on customer needs.

The Lead Implementation Specialist is a subject matter expert in one or more of FactSet’s products, tasked with deploying FactSet’s products by delivering on high-value projects and engagements. The Lead Implementation Specialists should be able to independently implement many workflows. Lead Implementation Specialists are contributing members of the department’s leadership team and are looked to for decision making in their areas of expertise. In many cases, Lead Implementation Specialists are involved in the pre-sales solutioning process to ensure successful engagements. Lead Implementation Specialists should collaborate with and mentor junior members of the implementation specialist. All work done by Implementation Specialists is project-based and may include implementations, solutions optimization, and other time and knowledge-intensive projects. Implementation Specialists may be utilized on larger and more complex engagements and may serve as mentors for more junior members of the team. Our Implementations team is an essential partner to our clients to support complex changes across their organizations, drive enterprise deployments of FactSet solutions, manage organizational restructures, and implement process improvements. We work with all core analytics tools, such as PA (Portfolio Analysis), SPAR (our returns-based Style, Performance, and Risk tool), Portfolio Vault & Insight, Portfolio Batcher, Publisher, Analytics APIs, to name a few. What You'll Do

• Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
• Effectively communicate with our most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
• Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
• Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
• Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet's products
• Provide user training and support the development of training programs
• Produce client-facing communication to facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
• Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
• Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline
• At least 6 years of experience working with FactSet's Analytics tools
• Strong knowledge of performance workflows
• Strong technical background
• Proven technical proficiency particularly with writing complex screening codes
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products
• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
• Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
• Willingness to travel

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

The budgeted range for this position in New York City, Connecticut, and California is $120,000-$150,000. The budgeted range for this position in Toronto is $120,000 - $160,000 CAD. Please note: the salary range may differ in other locations or countries.
