Job summary

Astir IT Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Performance Engineer with 12+ years of experience to optimize distributed and microservices architectures, identify bottlenecks, and improve user experience across cloud environments.

You will conduct end-to-end performance analysis, tune JVM, manage GC, implement observability dashboards with ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, and DynamoDB/AWS services, and develop performance tests with JMeter, Gatling, and K6.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of performance engineering experience.
• Experience with APM and RUM.
• Experience across AWS and Azure clouds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end performance analysis across application, database, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, JFR, and YourKit.
• Perform JVM tuning, thread analysis, and database optimization.
