Job summary

Wizeline, a global AI-native technology solutions provider, seeks a Senior PV Performance Engineer to support solar assets across the United States. You will analyze SCADA data, build performance models, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize production.

The role requires strong Python/SQL, PVsyst experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. AI-enabled workflows and analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solar PV performance engineering, asset management, or performance analytics.
• Strong experience with PVsyst and photovoltaic performance modeling.
• Experience analyzing SCADA and time-series operational data.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Knowledge of solar plant KPIs, energy losses, and performance testing.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, trackers, and solar operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and SCADA data from solar PV plants.
• Evaluate plant performance against expected energy production.
• Develop performance models and predictive analytics solutions.
• Identify energy losses, equipment issues, and underperformance drivers.
• Calculate key performance metrics including PR, availability, and energy performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, O M, Data Science, and Software teams.
• Support automation of reporting and analytics using modern programming tools and AI-enabled workflows.

About the role:

We're seeking a Senior PV Performance Engineer to support a growing portfolio of utility-scale and distributed solar assets across the United States.This role combines solar performance engineering, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision making to optimize plant performance, identify energy losses, and improve operational efficiency across the portfolio.
