Democracy Fund is seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter with fluency in cloud-based systems to support the growth and success of Democracy Fund and its extended network. The Senior People Team Associate provides seamless recruitment support to the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition, and works with every part of our community to grow and strengthen the capacity of our teams. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience recruiting in collaborative, experimental, creative environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing internal team processes that not only ensure efficient, smooth-running recruiting systems but also focus on improving the overall employee and candidate experiences.
The position focuses on tracking and managing the recruitment process, including oversight of an administrative support staff member to ensure candidates move quickly and efficiently through our holistic interview process. The Senior People Team Associate will interview and screen candidates as well as initiate preboarding steps, such as offer letters and background checks, that lead to the onboarding handoff, which is led by the People Team Coordinator.
The Senior People Team Associate serves as a thought partner with the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition; staffs Employee Engagement Committee meetings; and supports the biennial rollout of the Great Place to Work Survey. The successful candidate will collaborate to create, deliver, and center dynamic DEIB experiences that span our internal and external communities.
The Senior People Team Associate will be a resourceful, highly collaborative team player who possesses strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills; excels at managing multiple priorities; and is able to work independently on projects from conception to completion.
The Senior People Team Associate reports to the Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition, and collaborates closely with the People Team Coordinator.
Salary range begins at $98,300 per year.
