Job description
Overview

Dataiku is The Universal AI Platform, giving organizations control over their AI talent, processes, and technologies to unleash the creation of analytics, models, and agents. Providing no-, low-, and full-code capabilities, Dataiku meets teams where they are today, allowing them to begin building with AI using their existing skills and knowledge.

At Dataiku, we’re on a mission to make AI everyday. And to do that, we also need the best people systems running behind the scenes. That’s where you come in!

We’re looking for a People Systems Integrations Developer to join our People Systems team. This is a highly technical role where you’ll be the go-to person for all things Workday integrations. You’ll connect Workday with payroll, equity platforms, and other systems, using both Workday-native tools and iPaaS solutions like Workato. You’ll also collaborate with partners across HR, Finance, IT, and more to make sure everything runs smoothly and scales with our growth.

Dataiku is seeking a People Systems Integrations Developer to join our People Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom integrations as well as other Workday solutions, across our HR technology ecosystem. You will assist in supporting the organization with systems-related inquiries and enhancements and leading cross functional projects. You will play a key role in connecting Workday with our payroll providers, equity administration platform(s), and other enterprise systems by leveraging both Workday-native integration tools and iPaaS solutions such as Workato. This role works very closely with all levels of the company and is a highly technical role that combines integration development expertise with deep technical Workday knowledge. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, Equity Administration, and IT to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions.

What you’ll do
  • Be the main point of contact for Workday integrations and downstream systems
  • Keep an eye on our integration landscape to make sure everything’s running like clockwork
  • Build new integrations and enhance existing ones — from design to testing to launch
  • Architect workflows that are secure, automated, and easy to monitor
  • Translate complex technical ideas into clear, simple processes for stakeholders
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and others to turn system requirements into smart Workday solutions
  • Provide Tier 2 support in our ticketing system, with a customer-first mindset
  • Pitch in on other areas of Workday when needed
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years working with Workday HCM (business processes, reporting, security, integrations)
  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday Studio experience
  • Solid track record building custom integrations with iPaaS solutions (ideally Workato)
  • Experienced in connecting Workday with payroll providers and equity administration platforms
  • Proficient in XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, JSON, and related integration technologies
  • Comfortable with HR, payroll, and equity processes
  • Known for problem-solving, attention to detail, and juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong with custom reports, calculated fields, and EIBs
  • Experienced in a global environment
Bonus points if you have
  • Exposure to other Workday modules
  • Experience with platforms like Shareworks (or similar equity tools)
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2)
  • Worked with other iPaaS tools beyond Workato
  • Workday certifications
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS
  • Curiosity about GenAI applications and agent development

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training.
