Job description

We are a full-stack finance and accounting firm, exclusively serving Venture Capital backed startup clients. All of our employees work remotely across 5 US time zones and in several international locations. The role:

We are seeking a Senior People Operations Consultant with a Bachelor's degree and ideally experience in HR operations or payroll management, and with a consultative mindset and ability to sell. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in HR software (e.g., Rippling, Deel, Gusto) and a solid understanding of people operations. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. The role also requires a collaborative mindset and adaptability to evolving client needs and regulations.

This is a full-time, fully remote job opportunity (open to candidates residing in the US only).

NOTE: You must live in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients on setups of new Payroll Management systems
  • Upsell clients on new People Operations services and systems
  • Communicate with clients regarding opportunities for optimization of their People Operations function
  • Supervise existing internal Crunchfirm People Operations consultant
  • Create new client processes, employee handbooks, HR policies
  • Assist clients in making their employee experience seamless and enjoyable
  • Streamline the way Crunchfirm provides People Operations services across its client base
  • Serve as backup for processing of client payroll, benefits, etc., but the majority of this role is about creating new opportunities for clients and implementing those, before handing off

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with People Operations in a startup
  • Sales skills and persuasive communication style are essential to succeed in this role
  • Ability to work independently and possess strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Familiarity with software such as Rippling, Gusto, Deel, and Asana
  • Ideally holding an HR credential such as PHR, SPHR, etc.
