Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the People Systems Team. You will design data pipelines, build dashboards, and ensure data quality to drive strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and help migrate toward next-generation analytics tools across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data engineering/analytics engineering roles.
• Advanced SQL with optimization and dialects.
• Python for data extraction, transformation, loading, and automation.
• Strong data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
• Experience with Git-based collaboration, testing, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data models in the warehouse.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability.
• Improve performance of models and queries.
• Evaluate and implement modern data tooling and infra.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders.
• Create documentation and promote best practices.
