Job summary

Synack seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager to serve as a technical advisor for customers, scoping penetration tests and guiding researchers for optimal testing outcomes.

You will translate customer goals into testing plans, analyze assets, and provide SME guidance to maximize security program value. Candidates should have cyber security experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in technical account management, TAM, or customer success in cyber security.
• Experience with vulnerability discovery management, risk workflows, and remediation.
• Certifications in cybersecurity such as Security+, CISSP or CISA.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and rules of engagement for penetration tests and guide researchers.
• Gather requirements and align testing with customer needs and goals.
• Assess client assets, attack surface, and existing vulnerability programs.
• Provide technical product expertise to tailor solutions for clients.
• Serve as SME to internal stakeholders and clients on testing needs and goals.
• Review assessment health and provide findings to improve test quality and mitigate risk.
• Assist customers in managing and optimizing long-term pentesting programs.
• Collaborate with account and CSM teams to address concerns and opportunities.
