Job summary

Packetlabs is seeking a seasoned developer/application security tester to join our remote team. You will perform penetration testing across web, mobile, thick clients, and APIs, conduct source reviews, and reverse engineer apps to prove flaw impact.

You will document findings with remediation guidance for executive stakeholders. You should have hands-on experience with Burp Suite, modern languages, and security testing methodologies, plus OSCP/OSWE/BSCP qualifications.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of programming languages including C, C#, Python, Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, SQL

Responsibilities

• Penetration testing of web applications, mobile apps, thick clients, and APIs
• Source code review and whitebox testing to prove impact of flaws
• Reverse engineering of mobile and thick client apps
• Chain application flaws to other areas such as cloud and on-prem AD infrastructure
• Develop detailed reports on findings and remediations for impactful findings
• Perform SAST and DAST on enterprise, SaaS, and in-house applications
• Experience with scanners and validating/eliminating false positives
