Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Attack & Penetration Tester to join a globally connected team. You will plan, lead, and execute advanced offensive security engagements across diverse client environments, emulating adversaries and assessing AD, cloud, and application security.

You will collaborate with client teams, translate findings into remediation actions, mentor juniors, and stay current with threats and tooling. The role demands strong communication and leadership in a high‑stakes consulting setting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, IT, Engineering, or related field and at least five years of offensive security experience.
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing advanced red team engagements, including adversary emulation and objective‑based operations.
• Experience in external and internal network penetration testing, host and service enumeration, exploitation, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and post‑exploitation activities.
• Experience with cloud security testing, identity and access management, and cloud attack paths.
• Ability to develop clear technical findings and remediation guidance for client environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute complex penetration testing and red team engagements across diverse client environments.
• Emulate adversaries using intelligence-led techniques and identify exploitable attack paths.
• Evaluate preventive, detective, and responsive controls across networks, AD, cloud, web, APIs, and mobile apps.
• Translate testing results into actionable insights for technical and executive audiences.
• Coordinate testing activities, mentor junior team members, and contribute to methodology development.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats, tooling, and industry research.
