Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Penetration Tester to join a highly skilled team to deliver premier cyber security services. You will conduct internal and external pentesting across networks, web apps, databases, and cloud services, while producing actionable threat-based reports and robust security recommendations.

As part of a mission-focused environment, you will collaborate with developers, admins, project managers, and senior government stakeholders to strengthen security postures across multiple fabrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a related field (see above).
• 8+ years of related experience in cybersecurity/pen testing recommended or required as stated.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external penetration testing of networks, web applications, databases, and cloud services.
• Manually exploit and exploit networks, web apps, databases, and cloud services to include privilege escalation and lateral movement.
• Examine results of web/OS scanners, scans and static source code analysis.
• Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance issues.
• Write final reports, defend findings with risk, mitigation, and references.
• Coordinate with developers, system admins, project managers, and senior government stakeholders.
• Provide security recommendations for various audiences.
• Report vulnerabilities identified during security assessments.
• Write ROEs, Test Plans, and SOPs.
• Produce actionable, threat-based reports on testing results.
• Conduct security reviews and technical research and report findings to improve defense mechanisms.
