Ladders is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join our client’s team, a leader in Finance & Insurance. You will strengthen application security by leading hands-on testing across core systems, APIs, and AI-enabled applications, partnering with engineering to mitigate risk and improve secure coding practices.

You will help define offensive security approaches for AI environments and support safe release of AI-generated code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security, offensive security, or product security
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and code review for web applications, APIs, and AWS
• Curiosity and a hacker mentality to explore system vulnerabilities
• Interest in leveraging AI for security testing and workflow improvements
• Understanding of AI/LLM attack surfaces and vulnerabilities in AI-generated code
• Proficiency in modern programming languages like Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Go
• Strong communication skills to convey risk and priorities to engineers

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will strengthen the organization’s application security posture by leading hands‑on testing across core systems, APIs, and AI-enabled applications.

You will partner closely with engineering teams to uncover risk, improve secure coding practices, and build practical security tools that enhance testing coverage and remediation speed.

The position also includes helping define offensive security approaches for modern AI environments and supporting the safe release of AI-generated code into production.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $143,000 – $183,000 annually
