Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union seeks a Senior Pega Engineer/Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Pega-based solutions. You will work in an Agile Scrum team, collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver scalable, high-quality software.

The role emphasizes Pega expertise, deployment automation, test automation, and SDLC/DevOps practices. Hybrid schedule and opportunities for mentorship are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, software engineering, or mathematics.
• 6+ years building and implementing model‑driven, enterprise Pega solutions.
• Must have a Pega CSSA certification.
• Nice to have .NET development experience.
• Experience automating deployment processes in Pega with Jenkins or Pega Deployment Manager.
• Familiarity with Pega DevOps, branching, and automated packaging/deployment.
• Experience creating automated tests with PegaUnit/Selenium and integrating tests into CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) related to Pega environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test features for Pega-based applications within an Agile Scrum team.
• Build and configure applications using the Pega Platform to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
• Work with QA, DevOps, and operations to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Ensure Pega configurations follow best practices for scalability and performance.
• Document configurations, rules, and changes; keep documentation up-to-date.
• Perform unit and integration testing as part of the SDLC and support deployments.
• Provide updates on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
