Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments including architecture design, engineering and optimization.
• Experience providing senior-level guidance on department-wide systems architecture decisions.
• Experience establishing and implementing standards for technology solutions across multiple platforms and OS.
• Experience reviewing and designing standard software/hardware builds and assessing risks and costs.
• Experience developing frameworks for integration and changes to technical standards.
• Experience assisting with architecture governance processes and providing technical guidance to project teams.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Department's overall systems architecture.
• Facilitate standards and guidelines for technology solutions including cross-platform integration.
• Review and design standard software/hardware builds, options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impact on enterprise goals.
• Develop and document integration/implementation frameworks for changes to technical standards.
• Assist in developing and managing an architecture governance process.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams as appropriate.
• Assist in systems analysis and design, with understanding of development, QA, and integration methodologies.
