Job summary

Virtusa Corporation is seeking an experienced Pega Developer to design and build Pega applications from scratch, upgrade handling, and integrate AWS services including S3.

Required 8+ years of Pega experience, CSA/CSA-certified, strong SQL skills, and Unix/Linux/Tomcat expertise. You will work on Agile teams, support on-call issues, and help deliver BPM/BRE solutions across IT and business units.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Pega Development with CSA certification.
• Strong knowledge of Pega design concepts, case design, and development best practices.
• Comfortable writing SQL statements for analysis and understanding database concepts.
• Unix/Linux server and Tomcat experience needed.
• Experience with AWS architecture and REST services.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
• Experience providing on-call support and triage with root-cause analysis.
• Experience developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega under guidance of seniors.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and deployment concepts; CICD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
• Support BPM/BRE solutions under senior architects' guidance.
• Triage issues, diagnose root causes, and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and business units.
• Contribute to analysis, design, development, and implementation tasks.
• Assist in release delivery and deployment activities using CICD.
