The Senior Pega Business Analyst, part of the Strategic Workflow Process Team, serves as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders. This role works closely with end-user groups and leadership to elicit user requirements and develop functional specifications for digital solutions. The position involves collaboration with analysts, developers, and designers to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs and compliance standards.

In the senior role, you'll bring a broader perspective to problem-solving, lead or support complex initiatives, coach other analysts, and contribute to key deliverables such as business cases, storyboards, personas, and system documentation.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into Pega application solutions, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, integrations, rules, data models, and decisioning components. Design and develop Pega applications, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, and integrations
  • Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle-partnering with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and translate business needs into actionable technical designs and scalable Pega solutions, ensuring alignment across user stories, data models, and functional specifications
  • Document technical designs, implementation approaches, and configuration changes for future reference and maintenance
  • Stay current on Pega features, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve the quality and efficiency of development efforts
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with analysts, UI/UX designers, developers, and project managers to co-create digital solutions that reflect both business goals and user needs-ensuring alignment from discovery through delivery
  • Act as a strategic problem-solver-identifying gaps, uncovering root causes, and driving pragmatic solutions that improve performance and business outcomes
  • Provide daily support for technology solutions, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Drive consensus and gain approval on final requirements
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project or business analysis experience, preferably working with Pega
  • Experience working with Pega Infinity (v8.8 and above), including recent releases such as Infinity '23 and '24
  • Pega certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CPBA, CPDC, CPCSBA)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Confident presenter with the ability to respond to questions from leadership and end-users
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make recommendations based on data and trends
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience creating user stories and translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Proficiency in creating professional documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Jira, and Visio
What Will Set You Apart
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement plan administration or 2-3 years of business process management experience
  • Experience collaborating with a wide range of internal departments and external partners
  • Familiarity with XML, smart forms, SQL, OnBase, and Salesforce applications
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Power user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Base Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $120,925.00
