Alpharus Health in Lake Villa, IL is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist II (CPRS or CRSS) to support patients with substance use disorders through recovery-oriented services and individualized plans. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS or CRSS) is required.
• 1 year of related work experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to learn and use electronic health records for documentation.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a caseload for residential and outpatient clients.
• Develops individualized recovery plans and supports implementation.
• Delivers 20–25 hours weekly of direct peer support in person or virtually.
• Documents recovery plans and progress in the electronic health record.
• Connects patients with community resources and coordinates transportation.
