Job summary

Dell Medical School in Austin, TX is seeking a senior Pediatric Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist to lead clinical care, program development, and scholarly initiatives within the TCPCHD.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and eligible for Texas medical license.
• Significant experience in heart failure, VADs, transplant evaluation/listing and post-transplant care.
• Eligible for faculty appointment at UT Austin; salary and rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology care including transplant evaluations.
• Lead program development, safety, quality and access for transplant services.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and TCPCHD leadership across UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s.
• Supervise advanced practice providers and participate in education and research initiatives.
