Job summary

Children's Mercy in Kansas City is seeking a Pediatric Echocardiography professional to perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms and mentor students, staff, and fellows in the Echo Department.

The role requires 3–5 years of pediatric echo experience, ARDCS or RCCS registration, and current BLS certification. The position emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and maintaining efficient lab operations onsite at Adele Hall.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited sonography program.
• 3–5 years experience Pediatric Echo and/or Adult Congenital.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDCS) or RCCS upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pediatric Echocardiography on patients from newborns to adults; mentor students, staff and fellows in Echo.
• Provide patient care considering age, diagnosis and family context; maintain service excellence in echo lab operations.
• Maintain efficient operations of the Echo Lab.
• Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and learning.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and processes.
