Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Senior Clinical Program Specialist for Cardiothoracic Surgery to coordinate clinical and operational aspects of the LAVT, BiV repair, MAPCA programs, and related services. You will act as the central hub across cardiology, surgery, imaging, and other teams to move patients efficiently through referral, evaluation, planning and follow-up.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years in a related job discipline OR Master's degree with 0–2 years' experience.
Clinical licensure in related field.
Experience coordinating complex patient care across multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent organizational, communication, critical-thinking, and follow-through skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple patients, priorities, and complex care pathways.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate care across cardiac surgery, cardiology, electrophysiology, imaging, and other teams.
Track patients through the complete care pathway from referral to follow-up.
Coordinate required consultations, imaging, and diagnostic testing.
Identify barriers, delays, or gaps in care and facilitate solutions.
Organize and facilitate regular multidisciplinary program meetings.
Serve as liaison among providers and teams to ensure care plan follow-through.
Maintain program patient tracking systems and clinical documentation.
Collect and track program data, outcomes, and key metrics for quality and research.
