Job summary

Manpower Engineering is assisting in a direct-hire Senior Civil Engineer, PE – Stormwater & Water Resources in Hudson, WI with a HYBRID SCHEDULE. The role focuses on stormwater management design, hydrology/hydraulics modeling, and drainage design for land development and municipal projects in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The incumbent will manage technical design work, coordinate with clients and agencies, and deliver high-quality stormwater solutions from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 4+ years civil engineering experience, preferably stormwater or water resources.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate stormwater systems for development and municipal projects.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulics modeling and drainage analysis.
• Prepare stormwater reports, drainage studies, and calculations.
• Design storm sewers, detention basins, and BMPs.
• Develop grading, drainage, and erosion control plans.
• Prepare construction plans, specs, and docs.
• Coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies for permits.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WinSLAMM or similar tools.
