Job summary

Amazon LEO is seeking a Senior PD HW Development Engineer III in Redmond, WA. You will lead architectural and technical decisions for an outdoor consumer electronics product, work cross-functionally with PD, HW, and Antenna teams, and align priorities with leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable designs.

The role involves collaboration with manufacturing partners, designing for high-volume production, and occasional travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience with designing for high-volume manufacturing and assembly processes.
• 7+ years of experience in consumer electronics products with architect/lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architect / PD Technical Lead for an outdoor consumer electronics product.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams and executives on project readiness and priorities.
• Communicate concisely with PD, HW, and Antenna teams and external partners.
• Travel up to 25% internationally and domestically.
