Job summary

First Soft Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Engineer & Administrator to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot PCF environments. The role covers Linux system administration, RabbitMQ, VMware vCenter, and automation through Concourse pipelines.

The candidate will implement monitoring with Wavefront/Splunk/Datadog, develop automation in Python/Shell, and collaborate across DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
• Experience troubleshooting PCF applications.
• Linux Administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• RabbitMQ Administration.
• VMware vCenter experience.
• Concourse CI/CD pipelines.
• Python and Shell scripting.
• Monitoring with Splunk, Datadog, or Wavefront.
• Knowledge of PCF components: BOSH, Diego, Garden.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native apps, and microservices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain PCF environments.
• Troubleshoot PCF-hosted apps, deployments, and performance.
• Administer Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Configure and optimize RabbitMQ services.
• Implement monitoring with Wavefront, Splunk, Datadog, etc.
• Manage VMware vCenter and virtualization infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Concourse CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation with Python and Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
