Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a Senior PCB Designer to craft RF and high-speed multi-layer PCBs for aerospace-grade systems. You will translate notes into detailed drawings and design files, coordinating with engineers and program leads to ensure precise documentation for fabrication and testing.

Candidate must have 10+ years CAD experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner and Altium, and be able to work onsite five days a week in Lexington, MA with interim clearance acceptable.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years CAD/PCB design experience.
• Proficiency with Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner and Altium.
• Experience with RF, high-speed, multi-layer PCBs and rigid-flex designs.
• Strong attention to detail in drawing packages for procurement, fabrication, assembly and test.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with engineers and program leads; interim clearance acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working plans, detailed drawings and PCB design files from notes and sketches.
• Generate complete electrical drawing packages for procurement, fabrication and inspection.
• Collaborate with engineers to document requirements, constraints, size, weight and power.
• Design MCMs and advanced RF/PCB layouts for aircraft-based systems; support system integration.
