Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking a PCB Designer III to independently lead the layout and documentation of complex, high-density PCBs for rugged embedded products. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and schedule integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering or 7+ years of progressive PCB layout experience, and strong skills in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and OrCAD Capture, with IPC standards and DFM knowledge.

Qualifications

• Lead the layout design of complex, high-density PCBs.
• Develop fabrication and assembly documentation packages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Test Eng to resolve design challenges.
• Maintain advanced PCB design libraries, footprints, and standards.
• Review layouts for accuracy and manufacturability; mentor junior designers.
• Support prototypes, investigations, and production issues.
