Job summary

ZF Group is seeking a Senior PCB Designer with 10+ years of automotive PCB experience to design and support PCBs from concept to production. You will work with system, hardware and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration, while meeting signal integrity, EMC, safety and reliability requirements.

The role requires strong English communication, time-zone flexibility, and experience with HDI design and EDA tools like DXDesigner/Expedition VX2.2.

Qualifications

10+ years of PCB design experience.
Automotive PCB knowledge with multilayer/HDI experience.
Ability to interpret datasheets and schematics.
Design constraints for mixed/RF signals and EMI.
Strong English communication and teamwork across teams.
Experience with DXDesigner/Expedition or similar EDA tools.

Responsibilities

Design and support PCBs from concept through production.
Design and review layouts and schematics for electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
Support high-speed, high-current, analogue and mixed-signal PCBs.
Collaborate with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers for proper integration.
Ensure signal integrity, EMC, safety and reliability.
Enforce processes to prevent unauthorized changes.
Create ECAD IDF files for Mechanical review and ensure interface consistency with CAD data.
HDI design with vias and Windchill PLM knowledge preferred.
Mentor teammates and manage deliverables with cross-functional stakeholders.
