Job summary

TSI is seeking a PCB Designer (Technician III Eng) to translate schematics into manufacturable PCB designs and documentation. You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on placement, routing, and EMC prevention to deliver high-quality designs.

The role requires strong attention to detail, quick learning, and teamwork in a cross-functional environment, with a focus on manufacturability and IPC-like standards.

Qualifications

• Electronic Tech AA or certificate with 5+ years PCB layout experience.
• HS diploma with 8+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience in PCB layout, impedance, and high-speed routing.
• Deep understanding of layout-reliant electrical performance.
• Experience in multilayer PCB manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate schematics to manufacturable PCB designs and docs.
• Define high-speed nets, spacing, and placement requirements.
• Create and update schematics, footprints, and parts records in SAP/OrCAD CIP.
• Produce Gerber files, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Support assemblers and address layout questions.
