Job summary

Sky Limit Systems seeks a PCB Designer to develop complex multi-layer layouts and supporting schematics for advanced electronic and avionics products in a high-reliability environment. You will work with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams from concept through prototype to production release.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, EMI/ESD considerations, and fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional PCB layout/design experience, ideally in aerospace/high-reliability environments.
• Experience with differential pair routing, impedance-controlled routing, and trace-length matching.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Altium/Cadence and interpretation of IPC standards.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation and ESD practices.

Responsibilities

• Create complex multi-layer PCB layouts supporting high-speed digital, analog, RF, and power electronics.
• Develop and update electrical schematics while ensuring proper component selection and connectivity.
• Implement design constraints for differential pairs, controlled impedance, and signal integrity.
• Generate manufacturing release packages (Gerber, ODB++, drill files, fabrication and assembly drawings, BOMs).
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineers to meet requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and DFx evaluations and implement required changes.
