Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking an experienced PCB Layout & Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Engineer to drive manufacturability and production readiness across the organization. This role will develop high-density multilayer PCB designs and establish DFM standards with IPC guidelines, while leading cross‑functional reviews with manufacturing, QA, and customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or Data Management required.
10+ years of PCB layout experience in a manufacturing or electronics development environment.
5+ years of experience supporting PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, or DFM activities.
Extensive experience designing multilayer, high-density PCB layouts from schematics.
Experience with PCB EDA tools; mainly Altium with familiarity with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or PADS.

Responsibilities

DFM analysis on circuit card assemblies (about 75% of time).
Lead DFM/ DFA assessments for PCB assemblies.
Review Gerber, ODB++, BOM, centroid, and fabrication data for manufacturability.
Develop and maintain DFM rules aligned with IPC standards and capabilities.
Prepare DFM reports, presentations, and summaries for stakeholders.
PCB layout and design from schematics to fabrication deliverables (25% of time).
