Job summary

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a seasoned Protection, Controls & Automation engineer for US-based projects. You will design, configure, test, and deploy PCA solutions for substations, data centers, oil & gas, and distribution networks.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, IEC61850, and collaboration with Sales and Project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
• 4+ years of experience in protection, control, and automation projects.
• Knowledge of LV/MV power systems and Schneider Electric equipment.
• Experience with protection relays and relay-based ATO schemes.
• Proficient in Modbus, DNP, IEC61850 communication protocols.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and execute advanced PCA solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Be a Safety Champion and promote Schneider Electric’s Safety-First culture in every aspect of work.
