Job summary

Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Texas seeks a Product Planner to own multi-year product visions for PC lines and drive cross-functional execution across engineering, procurement and design. You will craft PRDs, build business cases, and partner with suppliers to align roadmaps with market needs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Masters degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product management including the launch of at least three flagship hardware products as the directly accountable product manager.
• Deep system understanding across x86/Arm CPUs, memory technology, thermal design, displays and storage devices.
• Exceptional product sense - can turn user insights and competitive teardowns/benchmarks into clear, testable requirements and bold bets within your product.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies aligned with company vision and market trends.
• Strong market analysis skills, significant cross functional collaboration experience and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Product: Define a multiyear vision for your product category and own the product definition for one or more PC products.
• Write PRDs, set success metrics and be accountable for the outcomes of your product.
• Drive system-level decisions across CPU/GPU, memory, storage, displays and more.
• Lead and align cross-functional teams toward a unified product vision with clear priorities.
• Gather Market & Customer Insight: Leverage insights from regional sales teams and customer engagements to prioritize opportunities.
• Tell the Story: Help build launch narratives and identify differentiators for the product.
• Display Excellent Communication: Deliver concise, executive-ready updates and presentations with data.
• Operate like an Owner: Identify issues early and move with speed.
