Job summary

Deloitte’s Employer Health team seeks a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Consulting, to advise on PBM strategy, contracting, and financial performance for U.S. employers and public-sector sponsors.

You will analyze contracts, support RFPs, assess claims data, and help set renewal strategies while mentoring junior staff. You will join a team that helps clients optimize health and welfare benefits, comply with regulations, and design cost-effective programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of consulting or brokerage experience for U.S. health and welfare benefits.
• 5+ years leading PBM RFPs with pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• 5 years analyzing PBM contract finances and underwriting health benefits.
• 2 years managing multiple concurrent client projects.
• Ability to travel 0-30% on average.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PBM contracts, deal terms, pricing, performance guarantees.
• Lead or support PBM RFPs including pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• Analyze pharmacy claims data and financials; project renewals.
• Develop health and group benefits strategies and plan designs.
• Manage projects, present client-ready reports, mentor juniors.
