What’s the role:

You will be a part of a client-focusedteam responsible for the implementation and maintenance of tax and complianceprocesses crucial to the accurate and timely payment of employee related taxesin the US & Canada. The team is an integral part of our global payrollorganization, helping to ensure compliance with all applicable laws andregulations. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience inpayroll tax and compliance, with a proven track record of working in a complex,global organization. We are looking for a team member who is organized,analytical, and has a customer service focus. You should have excellentcommunication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range ofstakeholders. We’ll trustyou to:

· Assist with the accurate reporting andremittance of payroll taxes to all US and Canada agencies.

· Ensure accuracy and timeliness ofemployee tax setup and updates

· Manage W-2 corrections process andenter any tax balance adjustments needed in PeopleSoft

· Respond to payroll tax inquiries fromemployees via support tickets, emails, and phone calls.

· Manage the preparation and payment ofall payroll tax filings not processed by ADP

· Assist with US and Canadian Short TermBusiness Visitor process and ensure proper withholding and tax reporting incompliance with US state and Canadian regulations, such as the New York 14 DayRule.

· Review US payroll tax reporting andemployee setup for US national working oversees

· Review PeopleSoft tax system updatesand coordinate installation with Engineering and manage testing with members ofthe payroll team

· Assist with quarter balancing and yearend reconciliations

· Manage and resolve any payroll taxnotices received from various tax authorities

· Establish relationships and collaboratewith internal and external business partners

· Partner with peers in Payroll andexternal vendors to ensure that payroll systems provide accurate payments toemployees and compliant reporting

· Ensure departmental transactions complywith BLP and Tax authorities’ best practices and policies.

· Recommend system and processimprovements; work on special projects, as needed.

You’llneed to have:

· 3-5years payroll, multi-state tax, and reporting experience with a large company

· Experienceusing PeopleSoft and ADP SmartCompliance

· StrongExcel skills and ability to work with large datasets

· Strongorganizational skills: attention to detail, and ability to work on multipleprojects at once and to quickly shift priorities

· Demonstratedability to build partnerships, listen to customers and develop practical,supportable, and efficient solutions to meet customer needs

· Experiencedriving process improvements and assisting with projects

· Demonstratedcontrols experience

· Strongknowledge of payroll and auditing procedures and best practices

· Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal
