Job summary

Hillwood is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join the Human Resources team at our Dallas, TX headquarters. The role involves multi-entity payroll processing, data accuracy, and timely support for employees with a focus on compliance and stakeholder service.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience, proficiency with UKG Pro, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and payroll certification or specialized training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior multi-state payroll experience.
• Prior experience with UKG or UltiPro required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency highly preferred to support a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, input, process, and audit payrolls across multiple entities and locations.
• Process commissions and incentive payments on various schedules.
• Enter and maintain accurate payroll data in HRIS (UKG Pro).
• Perform timesheet reconciliation and audit payroll data for discrepancies.
• Research payroll regulations across multiple states and ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close and coordinate with Accounting.
