• Experience in payroll systems and processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolves payroll discrepancies across transactions and records.
• Performs payroll reconciliations and researches differences.
• Processes unusual or highly detailed payroll transactions per policies.
• Reviews exception and control reports to identify recurring errors.
• Researches inquiries involving payroll calculations and deductions.
• Supports payroll audits by tracing processing histories and discrepancies.
• Tests payroll system changes and documents defects.
• Identifies recurring issues and suggests improvements to procedures.
• Ensure health and retirement plan elections match deductions.
• Reconcile monthly insurance billing and resolve carrier issues.
• Assist with wellness and timekeeping initiatives and leave monitoring.
• Assist with vendor management and benefit communication.
• Assist with 401k contribution reporting.
