Position: Full-Time, 1st Shift - no weekends, M-F 8A-5P

Location: Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $35.90 per hour

  • 10 - 14 years, multi-state, specifically California, and multi-site payroll experience required

This role involves complex payroll responsibilities, primarily focusing on California entities, managing payroll for approximately 10,000 employees across multi-state sites. Ensures employees are paid accurately and timely, complying with state regulations, and maintains payroll records and reports.

Responsibilities
  1. Process multi-jurisdiction payrolls for around 10,000 employees on weekly, biweekly, and monthly schedules, managing pay groups from start to finish, including hourly, salaried, and monthly employees.
  2. Review and verify punch-in/out timecards, overtime, and unapproved time-off requests before payroll processing.
  3. Ensure final paychecks comply with California's timeliness regulations.
  4. Handle union reporting, including welfare benefits and dues.
  5. Verify and credit funds for stop payments.
  6. Conduct year-end reporting for W-2s.
  7. Maintain tax changes, garnishments, and deductions.
  8. Research and resolve issues during processing.
  9. Process bonus payments and other compensation activities.
  10. Monitor payroll help desk inquiries and resolve employee issues.
  11. Perform special projects as needed.
