Cathay Bank is seeking an AVP, Payroll Manager to administer all aspects of payroll across multiple states using UKG Pro, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. You will own changes, reports, and audits while safeguarding payroll data and confidentiality.

The role includes tax reporting, Leave of Absence administration, and SOX-compliant controls, with collaboration across the Payroll team to support company-wide payroll operations.

Competenze

• College degree in Accounting or HR preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll and benefits administration.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with UKG Pro and benefit carrier systems.
• Strong MS Excel and database skills; highly organized and detail oriented.

Mansioni

• Assist payroll activities for bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls and tax filings.
• Ensure accurate preparation, documentation and distribution of payroll.
• Update payroll records for exemptions, deductions, transfers, and titles.
• Calculate retroactive pay and input salary changes and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state taxes and employer contributions.
• Monitor new hires, transfers, terminations for timely processing.
• Provide payroll information and respond to questions from stakeholders.
• Maintain UKG Pro system operations and data integrity.
