Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a hands-on Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for 900+ employees in a fast-paced environment. The role requires expertise in Workday, ADP Smart Compliance, and 401(k)/HSA administration.

You'll partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate data, audits, and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate balances people leadership with technical payroll knowledge, driving process improvements and compliance across multi-state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience processing payroll for 900+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate, timely payroll processing for 900+ employees (salaried and hourly).
• Provide direction and oversight to payroll team to meet deadlines and service expectations.
• Review payroll for accuracy in earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other transactions.
