Responsibilities

• Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP.

• Prepare manual and off-cycle payroll payments.
• Record payroll activity and reconcile journal entries in Workday.
• Manage payroll-related items including fringe benefits, deductions, and 401(k) elections.
• Reconcile monthly payroll bank statements.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll questions and issues.
• Support annual payroll and corporate audits.
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related projects and initiatives.
• Assist with various ad hoc payroll and accounting responsibilities.

Our client, a leading global private investment firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Associate to join its established Payroll team in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to join a sophisticated, fast-paced organization and take ownership of payroll processing for 1,000+ U.S. employees across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP
