Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst in Charlotte, NC for hybrid in-office work three days a week. The role focuses on accurate payroll processing across locations, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with HR, Finance, IT, and benefits teams to maintain controls and improve processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of payroll experience, with expertise in Workday/ADP/Paychex/QuickBooks, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. CPP/FPC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple locations and employee groups.
• Prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc payroll reports for management.
• Support payroll-related benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Assist with system updates, testing, and training for payroll staff.
