Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage accurate, timely, and compliant payroll for domestic and international employees. This role partners with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll execution and continuous improvement of processes and systems.

The Senior Payroll Analyst will handle data compilation, reporting, audits, and year-end activities (including W-2s), while serving as the primary contact for payroll inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, garnishments, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for all employee groups with accuracy and compliance.
  • Compile, validate, and process payroll data (hourly, salaried, piece rate, temporary, bonus, commission).
  • Review and reconcile timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies before submission.
  • Maintain and audit payroll records: wages, deductions, taxes, garnishments, benefits.
  • Administer payroll for temporary employees, including system uploads and billing support.
  • Ensure compliance activities: garnishments, tax filings, statutory reporting, record retention.

Overview

The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll for the entire domestic and international company. This role ensures payroll integrity across all employee groups, including hourly, salaried, piece rate, and temporary employees. The position serves as a key point of contact for payroll operations, data accuracy, and compliance.

This role partners closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, HRIS providers, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll execution, resolve discrepancies, and continuously improve payroll processes and systems. The Senior Payroll Analyst is also responsible managing, compiling, and processing payroll data, supporting temporary workforce administration, and ensuring accurate reporting, auditing, billing, and compliance functions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for all employee groups, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
  • Compile, validate, and process payroll data, including hourly, salaried, piece rate, temporary, bonus, commission, and off-cycle payments
  • Review and reconcile timekeeping data; investigate and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission
  • Maintain, audit, and reconcile payroll records related to wages, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits
  • Administer payroll processes for temporary employees, including system uploads, agency reporting, and billing support
  • Manage payroll-related compliance activities, including garnishments, tax filings, statutory reporting, and record retention
  • Prepare payroll documentation and reports to support internal controls, audits, and financial reviews
  • Partner with Accounting to provide accurate payroll data, general ledger coding, reconciliations, and year-end reporting (including W-2s)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely resolution and clear guidance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Accounting, HRIS partners, and vendors to ensure data accuracy and process alignment
  • Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements to payroll systems, workflows, and reporting
Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of progressive payroll processing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, garnishments, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard of data accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Haves
  • Piece rate payroll processing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with Paylocity or similar payroll platforms
  • Experience supporting payroll for temporary or contingent workforces
  • Bilingual language skills
