FIS is seeking a Consultant Lead to act as a seasoned subject matter expert in debit and payment processing. You will guide large-scale projects, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions addressing client challenges and business objectives.

The role requires self-starting leadership, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and the ability to guide initiatives from strategy through execution, contributing to transformative programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in debit card processing, payment processing, or payments technology within fintech.
• Deep knowledge of payment transaction lifecycles, including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, network operations, and processing platforms.
• Proven experience as SME and trusted advisor on complex payments initiatives, platform modernization, or business transformation.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

• Serve as the primary SME for debit and payment processing initiatives, providing consultative guidance on transaction processing and operations.
• Contribute to complex client engagements and transformation programs, driving strategy, execution, risk management, and outcomes.

• Build trusted relationships with clients, product, technology, and business teams to influence decisions and deliver results.
