Job summary

Boeing in North Charleston, SC seeks experienced Design Engineers to join the Payloads organization within the 787 Program. You will develop interior payload system designs, integrate with suppliers, validate requirements and support production through certification.

Candidates should hold a BS in Engineering and have 2+ years of engineering experience; FAA/EASA knowledge and aerospace interiors exposure are a plus. Relocation is available; first shift; salary range $85,000-$115,000.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials) required.
• 2+ years of engineering experience including design, integration or certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document interior payload system requirements to define system design.
• Assist in testing to validate and verify systems meet requirements.
• Support supplier performance, test, and production activities to optimize design and meet program goals.
• Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
