Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to support the Radiation Oncology department at SCI North Campus Edmonds. This per‑diem role handles scheduling of new and follow‑up appointments, patient registrations, referrals, billing issues, and maintaining medical records, while answering calls and triaging as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of front desk/clinic reception experience, and an associate’s degree is preferred.

Schedule: Per Diem/On Call

The Patient Services Coordinator II functions as an integral team member of the Swedish Radiation Oncology department and as such assumes a key role in effective customer service. The PSC II exercises independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties. Responsibilities include: scheduling of new patient and follow up appointments and subsequent treatments, patient referrals, patient registration, preparing and maintaining the patient's medical record, charge entry and billing issue resolution, answering multiple phone lines and triaging phone calls, preparation of monthly statistics.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year Receptionist or front desk experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
