Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Patient Scheduler to organize and schedule clinical staff for patient visits across nursing and network teams. You will work with pharmacy, nursing and warehouse to determine schedule needs and ensure timely patient care.

Responsibilities include training teammates, cross-training in related duties, and supporting Nurse Manager and Directors. This role requires strong scheduling, communication and healthcare workflow experience within a leading home

Qualifications

• Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Comfort with basic office software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate staffing is arranged for all patient care.
• Coordinates, monitors and schedules patient care across clinical areas.
• Contacts patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interprets physician orders and schedules accordingly.
• Completes tasks and runs reports in required platforms.
• Coordinates scheduling needs with staffing availability.
• Ensures management is aware of staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitates patient complaints or issues to the appropriate department.
• May perform clerk functions in the absence of a clerk.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and company information.
• May cross-train in other nurse-support areas.
• Supports process development and improvement.
• Accepts other responsibilities as assigned.
