Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director, Patient Safety Scientist in Madison, NJ. You will partner with the Medical Safety Assessment Physician and Safety Management Team to define safe-use conditions, lead signal detection, and drive risk management across development and marketed products.

You will prepare safety sections for clinical documents, support regulatory interactions, and mentor colleagues while advancing pharmacovigilance strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree (BS, MS, RN, PharmD, PhD, MD) or other degree with equivalent education and experience
• 6–8 years pharmacovigilance/pharmaceutical industry experience; ability to mentor others
• Co-develops and executes safety strategies across programs by synthesizing complex data
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; able to work independently and in team

Responsabilités

• Lead core signal detection and SDRMs across product life cycle
• Prepare and review safety sections in protocols, CSR, IB and RSI
• Contribute to safety labeling updates and regulatory safety responses
• Lead risk management planning and development of RMPs; coordinate with global teams
• Support regulatory inspections and accessibility of safety data; mentor junior scientists
