Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Senior Patient Monitoring Technician.
This position is on-site in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Position Status: Part-time, evenings
Position Location: Sentara Independence - Virginia Beach, VA
Standard Working Hours: 2:45PM - 7:15PM, four 5 hour shifts a week, rotating weekends and holidays
The Senior Patient Monitoring Technician will assist with training new staff and assisting with new team member onboarding. Focused on promoting positive patient experience by partnering with the patient's family, staff, and other care providers to provide an excellent patient experience. Will perform under stressful conditions with compassion, and respect to ensure patient privacy and dignity as appropriate.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.35 - $23.08. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.Sentara Independence provides quality outpatient services to the surrounding community. The facility includes an ambulance-accessible emergency room that is supported by board-certified physicians. Sentara Independence houses state-of-the-art medical equipment and highly-skilled physicians and staff. Sentara Independence is now an extension of the quality services at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital including advanced imaging and physical therapy.
